ABOUT THE CLIENT

Elizabeth Seton High School is an all-girls Catholic School in Maryland, just outside Washington, DC. This marked the third year that Seton partnered with Gigawatt Group to design and print their admissions brochures as part of the school’s marketing efforts, having previously produced and edited an admissions video in collaboration with our internal partners at Cerebral Lounge and Clean Cuts.

CHALLENGE

The school had some changes in their administration over the course of the previous year. The new team challenged Gigawatt Group to incorporate a new approach into the design of the admissions materials for the 2024-2025 academic year. This opportunity involved designing a bilingual lookbook in both English and Spanish, along with a range of stationery products. Renowned for its academic excellence, unique programs and picturesque campus, Seton aimed to showcase these strengths to potential students—and their parents—and stand out in the competitive DMV area (DC-Maryland-Virginia).

SOLUTION

Our creative design process began with a collaborative in-person meeting with Seton’s marketing team at the school, allowing us to gain a deep understanding of their expectations for this year’s materials and their desired design direction.

Listening to their valuable feedback, we then presented a range of style frames, each offering unique design options aligned with their vision. We then meticulously refined the selected look and extended it to all admission collateral, including an comprehensive 32-page “look book,” available in both English and Spanish, along with various stationery products like stickers, postcards, and thank you cards.

RESULTS

The unified design consistent throughout each publication empowered Elizabeth Seton High School to project a cohesive brand across all their printed admissions collateral, while staying true to their school identity—giving them flexibility that can continue to grow.

Our dedicated team’s efforts effectively encapsulate Seton’s essence while simultaneously elevating the young women as they prepare for college. The new design style also introduces a modern, engaging, and creatively refreshing aesthetic that resonates with both the institution’s mission and its audience, setting them apart from other schools in the area.
