Website Design + Development
Case Study | Rockbridge
Rockbridge is a research firm based in Maryland, which wanted to build a new website in order to highlight their biggest assets—especially their thought equity. It was important that we create a design that could show off the body of work they had accumulated over many years as a thought leader in the industry. During the development of the new website, it was apparent that a refresh of the visual identity was needed in order to see true results from the online property.
At the time, Material Design had just been launched as a concept by Google and was rolling out to their platforms. We decided that this approach would be an elegant, clean way of presenting a lot of content in a way that would be easy for their audience to navigate. We also developed a custom CMS allowing the client to continually add and stratify their content in a much more efficient way. During the refresh of the logo, the client decided they were willing to do a full redesign so our team adapted within the scope and then applied the new visual identity including a new logo and color scheme as an integral part of the design.
The result was a clean, elegant website that unlocked a treasure trove of white papers, thought leadership pieces and blog posts previously buried behind a nebulous and difficult to navigate resource page.
